What Happens When You Approve
- You approve and sign right on this page.
- We call within one business day to set your start date.
- We call 811 to mark the utility lines, then we start.
Deposit: when you approve, the deposit is paid right on this page (the Demo uses a 10% test deposit).
Qualifications, exclusions and terms
Qualifications
- Prices are good for 60 days from the estimate date.
- Quantities are from our site visit and the plan. If the final measured quantity is different, the price changes at the unit price shown.
- Plants carry a one-year replacement guarantee when the irrigation we install or recommend is kept running. Plants in pots or moved by others are not covered.
- Hardscape work carries a two-year workmanship warranty. Natural stone varies in color and texture; that is not a defect.
- Pool shell carries a structural warranty for as long as you own the home; plaster and tile carry two years.
What is not included
- Permits or HOA fees beyond the ones listed above.
- Moving or repairing private lines that are not marked (sprinkler lines, invisible dog fence, low-voltage wire). We repair what we damage when it was marked.
- Rock, roots or old concrete found below grade that could not be seen at the visit. We stop, show you, and price it before going on.
- Electrical work beyond the panel and runs shown on the plan. Final electrical hookups are done by a licensed electrician.
- Fence removal and replacement for access, unless listed above.
- Repairs to driveways or sidewalks from normal equipment travel.
Site and access
- We need clear access through the gate shown on the plan. If equipment cannot fit, hand work is priced separately.
- Please keep pets inside on work days.
- We call 811 to locate utility lines before we dig. Work starts after lines are marked.
- Water and power at the house are used during the work.
Schedule and weather
- Start dates are set after approval and the deposit. Rain days push the schedule back day for day.
- Concrete, plaster and sod are weather sensitive; we will not place them in conditions that would hurt the finish.
Changes
- Any change to this scope is written up and signed before the work is done.
- Plant swaps of the same size and price can be made at no charge when an item is not available.
Payment
- Payment schedule is shown above. Final payment is due at the walk-through.
- Late balances over 30 days carry 1.5% a month.
- Materials stay ours until paid in full.
Care after we finish
- New plants need deep watering 3 times a week for the first month, then twice a week through the first summer.
- Stay off new sod for two weeks. First mow when it is 4 inches tall.
- Pool start-up and a walk-through of the equipment are included; we show you how to run everything.
