Ask customers for reviews

Review links, the portal Leave a Review card, the Review request automation and the Reviews report.

Reviews gives customers one place with your review sites (Google, Facebook and the sites for your type of business), tracks who was asked and who clicked, and can ask after a Service. It is off until you turn it on in Settings > Modules.

  1. Open Reviews and click Settings. Paste your review link next to each site you use and tick Show. A site with no link never shows.
  2. The industry sites come from Settings > Company > Business Type (Lawn & Landscape: Angi, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Houzz). Edit Industry Lists changes which sites each type gets.
  3. Add any other site under Your Own Sites, then click Save Reviews.
  4. Customers see the buttons on the portal Home tab (Leave a Review), after they rate a Service, and on the page their [review_link] opens.

Asking for reviews

  1. Automations > Review request asks after a Service is completed. It starts Off; turn it on when your links are in. Emails go out only while Automations sending is on.
  2. Timing, channel, wording and how often a customer can be asked are in Reviews Settings (once every 90 days and 2 a year to start).
  3. On a customer, the Reviews tab shows each ask and click, with Ask for a Review (same limits) and Never Ask This Customer.

Every customer sees the same review sites, whatever stars they gave. Clicks are counted through your own link; whether a review was actually posted isn't known. Texts wait until texting registration is approved.
