I don't understand, explain simpler

Price is what the customer pays. Cost is what the work costs you: people, machines and materials. Breakeven adds your share of rent, office and trucks; sell at breakeven and you make $0. Gross profit is price minus cost. Net profit is what is left over breakeven. Margin is net profit as a slice of the price: 30% means you keep 30¢ of every dollar. The little dials turn green at your target. Services switched Off are not counted; for packages, the recommended one is.

Equipment is each machine's cost per hour, plus 25% markup, spread a little higher for the 10% of time it sits in the shop. With no machines picked, every Equipment Rate in Settings counts on every hour. Materials is what goes on the property. Overhead is your share of rent, office and trucks.

I don't understand, explain simpler

Each line is one Service. Included is always part of the estimate. On shows switched on for the customer, and they can switch it off. Off shows as an extra they can switch on. Type visits, hours per visit or price, and every number updates. The bar after each line is its margin: green at your target. Press the arrow to see where the cost comes from. Fast keys: / jumps to the Add box, Enter or ↓ goes to the same box on the next line, ↑ goes back, Esc closes what is open, Ctrl+S (⌘S) saves. Tick lines on the left to change many at once (price %, visits, Included / On / Off, Remove); Undo puts it back.

What It Does: Keeps the estimate's details: Good Until, one option or any, overhead and the intro and terms.
What It Changes: Save keeps your changes; Discard removes a new draft. Customers only see it once it's sent.
How to Use: Fill in the title and Good Until.
Pick One Option or Any Options.
Check the intro and terms, then click Save.

What It Does: Holds Reopen as New Version, Save as Template, Void and the sales stage, probability and salesperson.
What It Changes: Void stops the customer from approving it. A new version keeps the old one in History.
How to Use: Set Stage, Probability and Salesperson and click Save Stage.
Use Save as Template to reuse it.
Use Void only if it should never be approved.
