Holidays: company closed days next to Work Days
Mark days the company is closed so Services move to the next open day and customers are not told you are coming.
Holidays sit under Base > Settings, right under Work Days.
- Tick the common US holidays you close, or tap Add Another for a custom date and optional name.
- Tap Save Base. Open Services on a newly closed day move to the next work day. Done and date-locked Services stay put.
- Base shows Closed on that day. Team and company calendar feeds list it as Closed. Personal calendar links stay Services-only.
- Customers never get a coming alert for a closed day.
When New Year's Day, Independence Day or Christmas Day falls on a weekend, the observed weekday (Friday or Monday) is closed. Demo starts with the six US holidays on; other companies start empty.
Where and How
Holidays
Base › Settings › Holidays
Company closed days next to Work Days. A Service that lands on one moves to the next open day.
What It Does
Marks days the company is closed, the same way Work Days mark the days you work. Scheduling, Smart Routing and the calendar treat a holiday like a Sunday that is unticked.
What It Changes
After Save, open Services on a newly closed day move to the next work day (Done and date-locked stay put). Customers get no coming alert for a closed day. Base shows Closed on that day, and team or company calendar feeds list it.
How to Use
- Tick the US holidays you close, or click Add Another for your own date and name.
- Click Save Base Settings.
- Leave every box clear if you don't use holidays yet.
From the same help as the card in the app.
