Price is what the customer pays. Cost is what the work costs you: people, machines and materials. Breakeven adds your share of rent, office and trucks; sell at breakeven and you make $0. Gross profit is price minus cost. Net profit is what is left over breakeven. Margin is net profit as a slice of the price: 30% means you keep 30¢ of every dollar. The little dials turn green at your target. Services switched Off are not counted; for packages, the recommended one is.

Good, Better and Best are packages the customer picks from, like small, medium and large. Tick the tiers each Service is in. A Service ticked in every tier is part of all of them, so it shows once as Included. A Service ticked in none is an extra they can switch on. Rename a tier by typing over its name; Recommended is the one we suggest. The totals here and in the strip above follow the Recommended tier.

Each line is one Service. Included is always part of the estimate. On shows switched on for the customer, and they can switch it off. Off shows as an extra they can switch on. Type visits, hours per visit or price, and every number updates. The bar after each line is its margin: green at your target. Press the arrow to see where the cost comes from. Fast keys: / jumps to the Add box, Enter or ↓ goes to the same box on the next line, ↑ goes back, Esc closes what is open, Ctrl+S (⌘S) saves. Tick lines on the left to change many at once (price %, visits, Included / On / Off, Remove); Undo puts it back.

Money Trail

Follow the money: the estimate, the Services it created, the invoice that billed them and the payments on it.MoreLess
How to Use
A Service links to its estimate through the estimate line that made it, and to its invoice when exactly one line for that month bills it. On an invoice it also lists the automations that ran for it or its payments, plus payment reminders, late fees and autopay tries.
Help Article

Nothing linked yet. Links appear once a Service is created from an estimate and billed on an invoice.
