Where and How
Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
The maker's safety sheet for a chemical: hazards, first aid, spills and storage. Opens with one tap from Route, Reference and the product.
What It Does
Keeps each chemical's SDS on the product. When a chemical with an EPA Number is saved, the site looks for its SDS in the CDMS label database in the background and adds it only when the EPA number matches.
What It Changes
Adds or replaces the product's SDS file. The old file stays on the server. Nothing is made up: no match means no SDS.
How to Use
- Open the product.
- Pick a PDF under Safety Data Sheet, or just Save to let the site look it up.
- Tap SDS on Route or Reference to open it.
Type
Chemical, Material, Part, Supply, Equipment or Service Item. The form shows only the fields that fit.
What It Does
Keeps each product form short.
What It Changes
The list and form show only that Type's fields. Plan and Add-on are on Sprowtz only.
How to Use
- Pick the Type.
- Fill the fields that show.
- Press Save.
Look Up
Products › Products › Product › Look Up
Find a product's EPA label by name or EPA number to fill the form, and add your own label copy.
What It Does
Looks the product up at the EPA and keeps a label PDF for every Label link.
What It Changes
A new file replaces the old one (the old one is kept on the server). Label links open your file instead of the EPA label.
How to Use
- Type the product name or EPA number and click Look Up.
- Tap Use on the right one.
- Untick anything you don't want, then click Save Ticked.
- Add your own label PDF if you have one and click Save.
EPA Label
Products › Products › Product › EPA Label
What the EPA label says about this product, next to what you have saved.
What It Does
Looks the product up at the EPA and shows ingredients, Restricted Use and more beside your values.
What It Changes
Fill Gaps only fills empty boxes; your own values are never overwritten. Looking up is free.
How to Use
- Click Look Up.
- Compare the EPA values with yours.
- Click Fill Gaps, or edit the product below.
