Set up Teams (crews) for Base and Route
Make a team, add people, and hand a Service to another team.
A team is who does the work: one person or a crew in one truck. Services belong to a team, and the person who does the Service is still the applicator on the spray record.
- Open Employees and click the round Teams button by the title.
- Click Add Team. Give it a short name (it shows as Team Sulphur 1), a lead, and the members. Truck, start address and a daily limit are optional.
- Someone can be on one team. Ticking a person who is on another team moves them; their Services that haven't started stay with the old team unless you tick the box to bring them.
- To hand all of a team's open Services to another team (a sick day, or before turning a team off), pick it under Move Open Services To and save.
Base and Route
- Base has an All Teams filter, and each Service shows its team. Edit under Actions can assign Services to a team.
- Route shows your team's Services. The Team chip opens another team's day if your role can view other teams (read-only unless the Teams settings say otherwise).
- Open a Service that hasn't started and click Reassign this Service to hand it to another team. It is logged and can be undone from the Change Log.
Teams settings (the gear on the Teams page): the default team for new properties, what Route shows, when a Service can be reassigned, asking for a reason, and more. In Tasks, the view that shows everyone's tasks is called Everyone.
