Tips on online payments

Let customers add a tip when they pay an invoice online.

Off until turned on in Card Payments Settings > Tipping. Needs Card Payments.

  1. Turn on Tipping and set the choices (10, 15 and 20% to start) and the largest tip.
  2. Customers paying in the portal or from an invoice link see the tip choices. The Pay button shows the total with the tip.
  3. The tip is charged with the payment but kept off the invoice; the receipt shows it on its own line.

Refunds from Turf Care cover the payment, not the tip; refund a tip in your payment provider's dashboard.
