Email Settings · Pelican Bend

Company name, email, phone, address and website (the [company_…] tags and the email footer) are on Settings > Company.

From Name

The name people see in their inbox. Blank uses the Company Name (Settings > Company).

From Address

Every email is sent from this mailbox. Blank uses the Company Email (Settings > Company).

Reply-To

Replies go here. Blank uses the From Address.

Mail Server

The incoming mail server the Emails page reads from.

IMAP Port

Used by Emails to read the inbox.

Sending Server

The outgoing mail server every email leaves through, with the Mailbox Login and Password. Blank: this company can't send.

Sending Port

The secure port of the Sending Server, usually 465.

Mailbox Login

The password is saved encrypted under Mailbox Password below. Blank uses the From Address.

Billing Sent As

PDF attached, the table in the email, or both.

Mailbox Password

Emails needs it to read the inbox. Saved encrypted, never shown.

Customer Sending

Off: only Send Test (to your own email on your employee profile) works. On: customer sends are allowed.

Confirm before sending emails

On: Send asks "Email name@example.com?" once before a customer email goes out. Off: Send goes right away.

Ready to send.

Auto Check (optional)

The server checks mail every 5 minutes, even when nobody is signed in. Nothing to set up.
