Take a voice note (My Notes)

1. On any page, tap the small round microphone just above the Help button (bottom-right corner).
2. The first time, your browser asks to use the microphone. Choose Allow.
3. Talk. Your words show up as you speak, and the button turns red while it listens.
4. Tap Stop. Fix any words in the box and add a Title if you like.
5. On a customer or property page, Link to this customer is ticked, so the note shows that customer. It only adds a link; the customer record is never changed.
6. Tap Save Note. Record More adds to the same note; Discard throws it away.

My Notes

1. Open My Notes in the menu (under Tasks). Newest notes are on top.
2. Search finds words in the title and the note. Show switches between My Notes and Shared with me.
3. Click a note to change its words, Copy it, or Delete Note (it asks first).

Share a note

1. Notes are private: only you can see them. Admins can't see them either.
2. To share one, open it and tick a team, a role (like Office role) or a person under Share With, then Save. Untick to stop sharing.
3. They find it under My Notes > Show: Shared with me, with your name and when it was shared, and a number on My Notes in the menu tells them something new is there. They can read and copy it; only you can change, unshare or delete it.
4. Teams and roles follow who is on them today. Someone who moves to another team or role stops seeing notes shared with the old one, and a person who is turned off sees nothing.

No live words? Some browsers (like Firefox) can't type as you talk. The button still records so you can play it back while you type; that recording stays on your device and isn't saved. In the iPhone app, recording comes with the next app update; use Safari until then. Don't want the button? My Notes > My Voice Notes Settings hides it for you.
