Use Route in the car (CarPlay and Android Auto)

The car screen shows your Route stops for today. Try it at your desk first with CarPlay Preview or Android Auto Preview (Help & Resources).

1. The stop you are driving to or working on opens by itself. Back out and it stays closed until that stop changes.
2. Up next: Go starts the drive and opens Maps, Start starts the Service the same as Start on Route, Contact. Driving: Go opens Maps again, Start, Contact. On site: Done, Pause (Resume), Contact.
3. Contact (when the customer has a phone number): Call <Name> or Text <Name>. Text opens your phone's Messages to that customer and Siri asks what to say. It goes from your own number; Pelican Bend sends nothing.
4. Service shows the area being treated when the property has it, like Ornamental - Step 6 (4,200 ft²). A finished stop also shows Gallons Used.
5. Status shows the same numbers as the Service card on the phone: Driving · 14 min (Budget: 20 min), then On Site · 12 min left, then 3 min over.
6. Done finishes a stop already started (on Route or with Start in the car). It uses the planned products.
7. Skip asks for a reason, like Gate locked. It saves the same as Skip on Route.
8. The stop shows its gate code and note from the property notes. The list shows a heads-up for the next stop, the wind now and tank left.
9. When every stop is closed, End of Day shows stops done and skipped, time on site and gallons used.
10. Late (top of the stop list, or say "Running late in Pelican Bend" to Siri on iPhone) marks your next stop running late on Route and Base. It also starts the Running late text automation, which is Off until you turn it on in Automations.

Change the button words, the skip reasons and what shows in Settings > Mobile App > Car Screens. No app update needed.
